Ours Aims, Motto and Crest
The fundamental aims of the Corps are:
- to promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
- to provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civilian life.
- to foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
As an Air Cadet there is no obligation to joining either the Royal Air Force or any of the other armed services. However, the ATC provides the perfect introduction for anybody wishing to join the services.
